Fantastic news received today! Whilst all of the children from our 63 projects are at home with their families, adults with special needs at our #PAGIR Centre are busy making face masks to protect those working in the Administration of @Ladakh.
Please Help Us Save Himalayan Villages and Change Lives Forever
Global warming is causing mountain glaciers in the Himalayas to rapidly recede. This means that the water supply to remote villages becomes further and further away and creates a major challenge to the villagers who are unable to transport the water from the glaciers.
The year 2019 has been another very successful year for the Trust. It is 11 years since we formed and in this time we have funded and built 37 projects in Ladakh, 16 in Uttrakhand and one each in Assam, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu: a fantastic total of 57 projects changing the lives of thousands of children, those with special needs and women in conflict with their families.
