Last week we were sent photographs from the headteacher Mrs Joshee at our KM Johny Primary School in Tamil Nadu, funded by staff from BSkyB in the UK and India. The photos show the children, staff and their parents all receiving sight tests, funded locally. This will no doubt improve their lives and education considerably! It is so great to see this wonderful school for Dalit ('untouchable') children going from strength to strength.
We are currently fundraising to build a second floor on to this very successful school. This will help accommodate and educate many more children who are desperate to learn here. There are currently 60 pupils, but the school hopes to increase the intake to 160 once the extension is completed. Please Donate if you can and help us to help more kids.
