CEO and Founder of Lotus Flower Trust John Hunt has been invited as a Special Guest to receive the Special Recognition for Contribution to Equality Award for 2019 for Power Brands Global this Friday in London.

The London International Forum for Equality (LIFE) has asked John to receive the award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to destitute and deprived communities in India through the work of Lotus Flower Trust, now in it’s 10th year and still changing lives forever.

A representative from LIFE told John: “Your journey is an inspiration for all those seeking success in life. Securing our future on the pillars of faith, courage, immense personal sacrifice and resolute determination, you are a trustee of our tomorrows.”

On hearing the news, John, 78, said: “I am delighted to receive such recognition on behalf of the Lotus Flower Trust and the children and adults with whom we work in remote India. I hope this opens doors for us, both in India and the UK where we can maximise support for those who desperately need it.”

John has been working in the voluntary sector for more than 27 years. Since its inception, the Lotus Flower Trust has completed 60 projects in 10 years, helping the lives of thousands of women, children and those with special educational needs and disabilities. Helping others has been his life’s work and it is wonderful that LIFE have acknowledged this through the Special Recognition award.
