Our Vision
Our vision is to "change lives" - the lives of children in remote and impoverished communities in India, by providing educational facilities to help break the cycle of poverty; and, perhaps, YOUR life, by involving you as a volunteer and as a financial supporter.
The phenomenal commercial growth of India over the last decade is well documented. But with a population in excess of one BILLION this developing country is unable to keep pace and address the needs of all its people. Poverty can be found in every corner of the nation.
A young Chakma girl, in the jungles of the Namdapha Rain Forest, Arunachal Pradesh, once said to me that the only solution to breaking out of poverty was “Education, Education, Education”. Lotus Flower Trust wants, with your help, to give children that opportunity.
Our plan over the next five years is to build schools, homes and orphanages to provide a better life for some very poor, but deserving young people.
We would like to see YOU get involved. You can participate as a volunteer, working alongside the local community helping to build their dreams. And, of course, you can help raise the funds which will enable the projects to be realised.
A “life-changing experience” is used a lot today, but working with Lotus Flower Trust you will truly “change the lives of young people forever” and just as surely it will change your life too!

This website is designed to give you only a brief insight into our programmes, just a glance at what we, together, can achieve. If you wish to get involved email us, call us, we’re always happy to talk.
The students that are pictured throughout this website are from “Fulcrum Challenge” a charity founded by me some 15 years ago. Their dedication and hard work has been the catalyst for the development of Lotus Flower Trust.
Always remember, together we can make a difference, together we can change lives.
